USO FUNDRAISER

Bridging Together for One Cause

In 2017, I decided to create a fundraiser, that would combine the efforts of two Texas Roadhouse locations, as well as our two Division 1 universities together to raise money for the USO- Ft. Riley.  This project was especially exciting because although there's normally a rivalry between the two schools, we were able to join the two veterans groups in a competitive way to raise the most money for the USO.

This event was enjoyable for me, because the military and veterans are such an important group of individuals to me.  I knew I wanted to be able to give back in a way that was different and we did just that.

Below are the banner designs that we created for each location to hang up at their perspective stores.  We ran the fundraiser for 4 consecutive weeks at both stores, raising a combined almost $5000 total for the USO- Ft. Riley.
