Steve's Floral was a unique experience, because my goals were to focus on new marketing platforms that would cut marketing costs effectively for the owner, while increasing publicity for the long standing business.  I introduced simple platforms like social media, and encouraged the staff to start highlighting their work.  We set up a photo booth in-house to showcase the arrangements leaving the shop daily. 


A second idea I introduced to the owner was to come up with creative ways to give back to the community.  Steve's Floral was located in the heart of downtown Manhattan, and our focus was how to create more buzz about the store, to both Kansas State University students, as well as the local community, and Ft. Riley, located near by. 


Lastly, I introduced an idea to update the store, or modernize it.  I wanted to modernize the store, and bring it up to date.  I knew that last part would most likely be a multistep process, but am proud to report that the store has since taken on changes both inside and out, and business is continuing to do extremely well!

Gallery Subtitle

My goal with both Instagram and Facebook was to focus less on generic pictures, and more on actual arrangements that were being done and sent out of the shop.  With social media platforms it was easy to customize posts to feature the local community.  We started small, and on their own, they have gone above and beyond with their posts.

These changes were subtle, but created new and inspirational posts on their feeds.
